Contracted by large UK privately owned ICT products and services company following their acquisition of a CCTV Digital Video Recorder development and manufacturing business from a major multinational.
Contracted as post acquisition Interim M.D. to manage the loss making business, to ensure a completely new product platform was delivered, to develop new business in the UK and Internationally, and to formulate and implement a business strategy to achieve sustainable profitability.
Successfully launched a new MPEG4 intelligent video processor. Ensured other products were RoHS compliant. Recruited new Head of Sales. Introduced new Visioprime Integration Partner (VIP) scheme. Doubled number of active UK VIPs, established International partners in Germany, Italy, Greece, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Launched new Website with new Image.
Achieved agreed sales targets and bettered P&L full year objective by £100k. Moved the company from its Woking office to parent company Headquarters at Basingstoke and reorganised and integrated it into one of the existing divisions. This saved £250k per annum and break-even was achieved in the month of October for the first time from significant previous full year losses.
